Hurricane Helene made landfall late Thursday night, Sept. 26, 2024. With record storm surges along the Gulf Coast prior to Helene's arrival, millions of people are without power especially in the panhandle of Florida, where Helene made landfall, and the Tampa Bay area. Some local roads are still inaccessible due to the sheer amount of water and wind damage in Florida - it will take time to clean up and assess scope of the damage. However, the other East Coast states are not out of danger just yet - as Helene begins to lose momentum, there are flash flood watches in Atlanta & throughout Georgia, North & South Carolina, Tennessee, and Maryland.
Please be patient with any active loads, warehouses, or pickups in these areas. We are working to connect with carriers, providers, and vendors that are affected by the storm to provide affected project teams with updates. Please reach out to your Warehouse Manager or Freight Manager if you have any questions or are concerned about specific projects, loads, or areas.
