At Audit Logistics, we are well-versed in dealing with weather that could potentially impact a project or warehouse. We understand that one of the many factors to a successful renovation can be associated with weather.

Hurricanes are massive storm systems that can wreak havoc on any coast, with the ability to reach more than 100 miles inland.

The storm system that has already filled many of New Orleans streets with 3-4 feet of water and evacuated some 10,000 people is expected to become the first hurricane of the 2019 Atlantic season sometime on Friday Night.

The hurricane center advised, Thursday morning, that this storm is intensifying quickly. The central Gulf Coast and areas inland through the lower Mississippi Valley should brace for a life-threatening storm surge, heavy rains and hurricane conditions in the next couple of days.

Potential Impacts:

Louisiana is at the heart of the emerging storm and experts are predicting that the surge could raise the Mississippi River to about 19 or 20 feet by the weekend, the height of the city’s levees at their lowest point. Bringing the levels dangerously close.

Audit Logistics is closely monitoring the storm and will keep you informed on how your projects may be affected by this increasing weather disturbance.

Please stay on alert and prepare your hurricane plan now!

Ready.Gov is a great resource, please pass it on to any and all family and friends who may be affected by this future storm.
