President
Darlene Henke began her career in third party logistics in the early ‘90s and founded Audit Logistics, LLC in March of 2002. Ms. Henke and Audit Logistics are recognized leading experts in the hospitality sector; her reputation is well deserved and based on integrity, hard work and dedication. Ms. Henke’s ability to think outside the conventional dealer business model resulted in Audit Logistics being the only industry firm in existence to offer auditable freight and warehouse management to the hospitality sector, giving Audit Logistics’ clients an immeasurable market advantage. Ms. Henke has moderated and participated in panels at leading hospitality shows on the topics of overseas sourcing and logistics, budgetary concerns, rising energy costs and sustainability. She established a nationwide partnership with Waste Management to recycle cardboard and other byproducts generated by the new construction and renovation industries. She also developed a partnership on the transportation side through SmartWay Transport, an organization endorsed by the EPA. She is also the youngest member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC).
CFO
Margi Davis joined Audit Logistics as Chief Financial Officer in 2009, overseeing Controllership, Treasury, Tax, Information Systems and Human Resources for the company. As Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for Crocs, she served as a member of the IPO team that brought Crocs public in 2006. She was Corporate Controller for Myogen, an R&D leader in drug development for chronic heart failure, where she helped bring that company public in 2003. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Oakland University, Rochester, Mich. and her MBA from California State University, Northridge, Calif. She is a Certified Transportation Broker.
Business Development Manager
Danñelle Whatley joined Audit Logistics in 2008. A Colorado native, she studied Business Management at Metropolitan State College of Denver and brings eight years of experience in commercial real estate and development firms in Seattle, Austin and Denver to Audit Logistics. Her enthusiasm provides Audit Logistics’ customers with unparalleled results.
Business Development Manager
Matt Sysko joined Audit Logistics in 2008 and was promoted to Business Development Manager in 2010. His career in logistics includes four years in hotel management as Guest Service Manager for a Preferred Hotel Resort in Kirkland, Wash., plus five years of progressive experience in logistics as On-Site Freight Payment Manager at Qwest Communications, managing a dedicated team of freight analysts while overseeing numerous carriers, contracts, POs, invoices and business relationships.
Logistics Manager
Carlos Sousa joined Audit Logistics in 2008. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he has 10 years of logistics experience working in Washington, D.C. and Colorado. He specializes in international logistics, ensuring compliance with domestic and foreign regulations and is proud to be working with the best logistics team in the industry. In addition to English, Mr. Sousa is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
Accounting Supervisor
Michele Summers joined Audit Logistics in 2008. Twenty-plus years of administrative and accounting experience make her an expert in job costing and have proven her ability to achieve Audit Logistics’ objectives. She enjoys being part of a dynamic team focused on making clients happy. In addition to English, Mrs. Summers is fluent in Spanish.
Freight Division Supervisor
Korey Kinney joined Audit Logistics in 2010 as a Project Manager. A graduate in Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Tex., he is a 12-year veteran of operations management with both Yellow-Roadway Corporation and FedEx Ground. Prior to that, he was a Logistics Analyst for Temple-Inland Forest Products Corporation, negotiating rates, processing routing requests and reconciling claims with railroad and trucking companies throughout Canada and the United States.
Senior Project Manager
Mark Farrow joined Audit Logistics in 2007 and was the Claims and Research manager implementing procedures to handle claims with carriers before becoming a Senior Project Manager. A graduate in Business from SIU in Edwardsville, Ill., he has worked in logistics since 1982 and is a licensed customs broker since 1988, managing several customs brokerage offices in Miami, Fla.

Marlene Reid brings a decade of accomplishment-laden experience in the transportation industry to Audit Logistics. Beginning her career at DHL Airways, Inc., she worked in international freight shipments and client relations and also in real estate operations and project management. A graduate of California State University of San Francisco in Business Administration, she is a great addition to the company.
Senior Project Manager
Daniel Richardson joined Audit Logistics in 2009 as a Project Manager. In warehousing and logistics since 1999, he got his start as an over-the-road driver securing U.S. shipments coast to coast, honing his freight management skills. His customer service relations were earned making door-to-door deliveries, and his logistics training includes warehousing and distribution, receiving, in/out dock fees, palletizing, storage, shipping and web-based inventory and freight tracking. He worked in the Hospitality industry overseeing FF&E installations on major casinos in Las Vegas and resorts worldwide, and he’s managed complicated projects specializing in FF&E installations, liquidations and coordination of FF&E logistics. An authority in carpentry, building designs and construction materials, he manages construction industry by-project remediation.

Emily Eaton joined Audit Logistics in 2010. A Mass Communication graduate of Montana State University-Billings, she earned her Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Sydney. Experienced in restorative justice and human resources, she’s an exceptional communicator with superior customer service skills.

Donovan Pokraka joined the Project Management team at Audit Logistics in 2011. This team player’s 11 years of experience include managing day-to-day operations of incoming and outgoing freight for Classic Sport Companies, Inc., and he was a Warehouse Manager for a fireplace and remodeling company, overseeing incoming and outgoing delivery to various jobsites along with warehouse product management.
Project Manager
Kathiey Tu joined Audit Logistics in 2007. Her background in pharmaceutical operations prepared her for the fast pace of the logistics industry and her master of customer service, attention to detail and efficiency are valued by Audit Logistics. Able to identify and resolve issues proactively, she manages multiple projects while building successful, long-term customer relationships. In addition to English, Ms. Tu is fluent in Vietnamese and Chinese Cantonese.
Senior Project Manager
Luke Cogar joined the Warehouse Team at Audit Logistics in 2010. He spent five years in warehousing and logistics at GI Trucking Company (now Estes Express Lines) managing dock freight and driving forklifts. He worked at SEKO Worldwide managing inbound and outbound freight moves and in dispatching, managed the warehouse for Pentax Imaging and oversaw the warehouse for the carwash manufacturer Mark VII.
Accounting Coordinator
Bridget Schumacher rejoined the workforce after 15 years as a stay-at-home mom, coming on board with Audit Logistics in 2010. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Iowa State University and taught elementary school. Relocating to Iowa City and then Longmont, CO for her husband’s career, she worked in patient accounts at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and at the Longmont Clinic. Treasurer of her children’s elementary school PTO and PTO fund-raising coordinator for three years each, she volunteered for five years as fund-raising coordinator for the Longmont Chapter of the Salvation Army.

Aimee Fountain joined the Audit Logistics, LLC team in January of 2011. A veteran in the transportation industry, she has worked 15-plus years in LTL. Her background in problem resolution, particularly complex issues, is complemented by her exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail.

Gabriel Rael II attended Metropolitan State College of Denver where he pursued a music performance degree in classical guitar as well as a music composition degree. He worked for the Apex Park & Recreation District (formerly North Jeffco Park &Recreation District) as a part-time manager in aquatics and as a full-time male custodian specializing in hospitality before joining Audit Logistics in 2011 as a Project Coordinator and being promoted to Project Manager.

Matt McLean joined Audit Logistics in February 2011. His professional career includes over 17 years in the customer service and retail industry, 12 years of which were spent as a respected manager in the home improvement industry. Matt has an unsurpassed history in customer service and retail warehouse management. His drive, passion and a willingness to learn are what make him an outstanding fit on the team.
Project Accountant
Jason Nuhn joined Audit Logistics in 2009 as a Project Accountant with three years of accounting experience in the hospitality industry. A Colorado native, he graduated with an Accounting degree from Metropolitan State College in Denver. His work ethic and accounting knowledge contribute to his mastery of the challenges inherent in the logistics industry. In addition to English, Mr. Nuhn is proficient in American Sign Language.
Accounting Clerk
Megan Rosas joined Audit Logistics in 2010 as an Accounting Clerk. She earned her Bachelor of Sciencein Biology from Metropolitan State College of Denver and aspires to attend medical school in the future.
Project Accountant
Julia Vanesa Garcia joined Audit Logistics in 2009. Born in Peru, she moved to New York in 2001 to attend Queens College-CUNY earning her Bachelor’s in Accounting. She trained and supervised new personnel as a student aide and later worked with the accounting team of an International freight forwarding and logistics corporation based in New York. In addition to English, Ms. Garcia is fluent in Spanish.
